After the villan called your turn bet on a board of J J 5 5, what do you put him on? It is very unlikely that he has a J or a 5, but he doesn't seem to be afraid of them so I would have to put him on another pocket pair or an ace.
I think your river bet will, at best, result in a split pot since the villan will most likely (and did) call a rver bet with ace high or better. Therefore, I don't think it is a good one. Haupt_234 |

My aim was to get him to fold an ace, as my play indicates a J or 5, no? Perhaps he doesn't have an A often enough to override other concerns?
