Default Do you call here?

I had a sold image at this table and no information about my opponnent, but this is PS 1/2 so I think people are a bit wild. During this session I had bet in the 15 - 20 range pre-flop one other time and all had folded.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (9 handed) converter

saw flop|<font color="C00000">saw showdown</font>

UTG ($$52.65)
UTG+1 ($$167.35)
<font color="C00000">Hero ($$426.65)</font>
MP2 ($$74.60)
MP3 ($$200)
<font color="C00000">CO ($$195.65)</font>
Button ($$205.05)
SB ($$241.25)
BB ($$235.90)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls $2, <font color="666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="CC3333">Hero raises to $17</font>, <font color="666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="CC3333">CO raises to $195</font>, <font color="666666">3 folds</font>,65, UTG folds, Hero calls $178.65.

I'd be inclined to call. Most people with AA wouldn't make such a large raise as they would want action with the hand.

I would be inclined to call as well. I hope u had luck.
Anyway, your read on the guy is the most important. What has he moved all-in with. Is he on tilt? Is he solid?
anyway. U even improved your hand. If the guy had AA. Well, got live with that.

Thanks all ... I did not hesistate to call ... and he did have AA and I was wondering after I lost whether it was a good call. What else would he move in with? On the other hand my view was "if he had AA he was going to have to show them to me." That's the issue.

I was thinking he might be a bit of a maniac with AK putting me on a small pair, or maybe someone with QQ putting me on a smaller pair. There were enough scenarios that he would make that move with that had me way ahead that I simply decided I had to call.

You'd really have to know the player, but his all-in play was a very poor raise, unless it's a really fishy table where people make terrible calls. It's very unlikely someone will have a hand good enough to call. He was very lucky that you did have a good enough hand to do so. Re-raising a pottish type raise would have been better for him as he wants action with that hand.
