Hi
With nearly 5000 hands logged on Poker Tracker at $0.5-$1, I am doing OK, making 5.2BB per 100, but am currently enduring a bad run. This bad run included a streak of 102 hands without a win. I guess many of you have had long streaks without a win, probably making mine seem insignificant. So what's the most number of hands you have gone without a win. PS - I am not ultra tight having a VP$IP of 22.5% and an overall win % of 9.09% of total hands. |

I've gone over 100 a couple times. It sucks but nothing unusual. I'd suggest going and doing something else for a few hours or not playing the rest of the day. Losing that many hands in a row might cause you to start playing poorly. Or you can just enjoy the ride. Weeeeeee!

It feels worse heads-up. I just lost 15 hands in a row HU tourney.

If you win 9.09% of your hands you have a 15058 to 1 chance of losing your next 102 hands.
Note that this calculation could be flawed. |

I'm on a bad run right now as well. I've only won 2 of my last 90 hands. In my last session (3 hours of PS .25/.50), I lost 44BB (not a record for me, but close). It was one of those painful sessions where you get no cards at all, then a bunch of good starting hands that make 2nd best hand after 2nd best hand. I got really tired of seeing my flushes and sets get beat.
FWIW, In 14K hands, I'm at 5BB/100 as well, with a VP$IP of 20.5%. |

Last week playing live I won my first hand. Then lost the next one--AQo. A couple orbits after I took down the blinds with an UTG raise. Then I didn't win a hand for about 3.5 hours, about 100 hands. In that time, I didn't voluntarily see a flop over like a 5-6 orbit period--two dealer shifts. Last night, playing live again with the 2+2er Formerly Known as BottlesOf, he had a terrible run, similar to my prior week session. Probably 3 hours without dragging a pot and a solid cracking of AA. It's not unusual.
