Default Quest Hand #9 - 66 (capped at the turn)

Wait all night to finally get my set, and then turn and river slap me around. Did I over play the turn?

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button calls, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (6 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(6 players)</font>
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP2 calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds, UTG+1 folds.

The check-call on the flop and a bet-reraise on the flop screams straight from a small blind in an unraised pot preflop with this board. But you still have a good draw to the boat so I'dve called the 3-bet instead of capping and paid off on the river solely because without the turn cap youd be getting 11.5-1 that your set was good on the river and thats generally okie dokey with me.

The call on the river was a crying one, as I was sure the SB had struck again...

He showed
5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

and my set was good [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

a lot of betting on his part... [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]
