Big pot 2.
The game is juicy enough to limp this UTG for once.

Re: Big pot 2.
1) Fold preflop to the 3-bet.
2) I'd go for overcalls on the turn (and reraise if there's a raise down the line) See what develops on the river and who calls. Garland |

Re: Big pot 2.
the pot has already gotten big... no need to build it further.
I'm still not so sure I like the pre-flop limp but it may be more of a product of result that there was a raise and reraise as opposed to the game conditions and the juiciness. I think you get the implied odds here to call the 3-bet though. |

Re: Big pot 2.
If the game is this juicy, I'ld raise the turn, since OESDs and flush draws are coming along for two bets right now, whereas if you only collect one now you have to hope someone's draw comes in to collect extra bets.

the pot has already gotten big... no need to build it further. [/ QUOTE ] Eh? Why not? It seems like everyone's line on this is, 'when the pots get big win them right away'. My last interest in this pot is winning it right away, no way. The only way i would want to get people out of the pot is if i thought they are correctly drawing, which just isn't the case here at all. Ok. So in the hand i have 3 players to act behind me. Two of them PFRers who seems very likely to have overcards. Yet there's a chance someone is holding 7,x and i'm giving them the correct odds by not raising. There is also a chance that 9,x is out there and will call two cold. Anyhow, i thought 7,x would hang itself if it's out there by raising the turn, then i can trap some with a reraise if that happens. Also, given that i can be very sure the overcards will call and can't be very sure 9,x is out there, i called. |

Re: Big pot 2.
Depends on game.
If somewhat passive (people will call one bet with 10/5 but not two) I would call the turn raise/bet the river. If the game is crazy/wild raise the turn and hope to cap! You'd have to get real unlucky to get beat on the river here. |
