Default How to play small/mid pair

Stars multi utg raises to 4xbb 1600...folded to me CO with 5-5...I've got her covered with an average stack 15k versus 7k....what to do?

fold. you don't want to be heads-up in this situation (assuming you don't get rearaised or called by the blinds). Almost any flop will be overcards, then what? You want 3-4 callers in with you to make it worth your while if you hit your set.

If you have built a very tight table image, you could try to raise here in order to represent a big hand but this also depends how much respect you have for an utg raiser and to some level how much respect she has for you. Would she do this with ATs or KQs? If it's me, there are better places to get my money in.

The chip lost is worth more than the chip won.
