Oh....My....God.....and a question

I finally went to the local cardroom (Sonoma Joe's in California) and even though I had read of the quality of play there, I was shocked. So much so that I probably could have tripled my stack if my skirt wouldn't have been on so tight.

There was one player whow would raise pf without even looking at his cards! "It's all luck anyways!" another had to be poked by his GF when it was his turn and called pf with anything, I mean ANYTHING. At most there were 3 decent players (including me and I suck!) at the table at any given time. Boards were checked around constantly, raises pf with 44 or 43s, it was truly amazing. One hand the board was the royal flush and one guy thought he won when he had the 9 in his hand. Truly unbelievable. May God bless whoever thought of putting poker on TV!

Now my question: This was my first time in a B&M, how do you keep track of the amount in the pot? I keep waiting for the amount to show on the table, but it never does. [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] I kept losing the count (much like my first attempt at counting at BJ in a casino).
