Default Caesars Indiana hand 4/8.........

Caesars Indiana impressed me more the second visit I made
there on Friday evening and it is the only B&M (or boat)
I've ever played live at. I just seem to really enjoy the
live play, all while enjoying on-line play too.

I was in late position with about 6 limpers to me with
me holding the J 2 of spades. I called. I had been seated about 2 hours and hit a bad run of cards witb nothing but
junk coming my way and was dying to play cards.
Flop came Jack high with two small spades hitting the table.
The big blnd bets out, only one caller to me and I hesitate
for a few seconds. My kicker is worthless, I've got a Jack
high flush draw along with this little problem of wanting
to play poker. I call.
Turn card is another Jack. Big blind bets out, middle guy
calls and I raise. (right? wrong? comments please)
Big blind calls me and he's cussing! Middle guy folds.
River is a brick, BB checks, I bet and he calls and he's
still cussing to where we all can hear him.
He had A K, I got it with three Jacks. The big blind is
an older guy and retired. He was irate at me calling with
the 2 kicker, he kept mumbling as he stood up and gathered
all his chips up to go home. He was ticked off.
Later that night I lost with AA, KK, and JJ (twice). I played for about 10 hours. In LP, I called with any
connectors over 5 if I had five or more limpers to me.
I hit a few pots with staights, and flopping 2 pair a
few times. I got out of Caesars with 395 dollars net and
feeling very good about my play. I folded A rag and K rag
in early and middle positions, even late sometimes. I'm
paying attention to position more, but sometimes I wonder
about it's importance in a game where 7 see flop after
flop and big pairs fail hand after hand.
I watched some other players stacks slowly evaporate.
They kept on playing every hand and calling down with
nothing but King high. Or they held bottom pair calling
all the way to the river. The fact is, they often hit on
the turn or river and got paid off. But it wasn't enough.
It's just like the books say, call too much and you will
get busted.

Just to address one aspect of your story...this guy has no one but himself to blame for not raising as is his option on the BB. You probably would not have called a second bet. Or would you have?

I'd like to object with the fact that you called a 2 a "kicker"!
