Default 30-60 hand

Great 30-60 at the Bellagio last week. Three limpers and the SB come in and I check my BB option with 76o.

Flop comes Q76r. SB checks, I bet and it's folded to a LA regular who raises. He'll do this with any hand he continues to play here. One limper calls two (this player knows that LA could have any queen, a draw, or a bluff). Folded back to me and I 3-bet. They both call.

The turn is (Q76)5. Suits don't matter. I bet and they both call.

The river is (Q765)5. Your action?

This bet is easier than my friend Britney after she's had a couple of Tangueray and tonics.

Oops I didn't realize your opponent just made Queens up. You should check.

Why? You're beat here. I'd check and call up to one bet coming back to me. Nobody's folding a queen or 88-JJ here. That limper that called two cold has QJ.

Does "up to one bet" mean you would be willing to overcall here? I would tend to check and call if it goes bet-fold or check-bet in front of me, but I don't see how I can win if it goes bet-call. Having both the LA guy be bluffing and the caller not able to beat a 7 with no kicker seems like a tough parlay.

You have better than a 7 with no kicker. You have two pairs, 7's and 6's. You'll beat most other 7's.

It's just too hard to imagine that your hand is good here. What the hell are the other guys calling with? Even middle pocket pairs now beat your hand. check. If LA bets and it's folded to you, make the crying call. If LA checks and the coldcallers bets, fold. Any other situation: fold.

my 2 cents.

The two pair was counterfieted with the 5s on the board...so now any middle pair beats you as well as anyone holding a queen. I would most probably check-fold because I'm most probably beat, but it would depend on what I put the others on. Perhaps I would bet out or check-call if I put them on the draw. Either way, the chances of the hand being good here, I don't think would be very high.

The pot's pretty big, so I don't think that checking is a good idea, since you'll be hard-pressed to call.

Bet and hope you don't get called. If you do, hope that LA guy has a hand that you can beat, such as A7 or 87.

Why would you bet? Would you be hoping to fold a better hand or get called by a worse one? Checking seems like a better option to me.
