neteller account closed?? any comments...

So I went to log on to my neteller, from spain, none the less it said my account was closed. Any idea if new regulations came in the US, namely Massachusetts that would close my account, also, how will I receive the funds that were in it, perhaps a check? Any help would be appreciated.

Why would you care about MA law if you were in spain?

Also if I recall correctly this is not the first time you had this problem.

Call them.

This happened to my account and my wifes, both times a phone call cleared it up, problem was on Nettellers side both times.

Neteller temporarily closed my account when I logged in at work (In Canada) through my company Internet (which produced an American IP address). A 3 minute call cleared up the situation. It seems to be standard for them to temporarily close an account if it is logged into from a country other than your regsitered one.

I logged into my neteller account from Spain, not Norway where I was when it was created, it was closed immideately, emailed them and opened up in munites, actually good that they have some kind of security.

It seems like they close them if anything changes during your logins. My girlfriends son brought his laptop down and connected to our wireless network, made a tranfser from his account and they promptly closed his, mine and my girlfriends accounts until we all called in. Real PITA!

thanks guys, yea I was having a hard time getting the F´ing phone card to work but when I got a hold of neteller they told me it was due to me logging on in another country. And gabby I live in MA which is why I would care, and no i havent had this problem before, had one NSF with them that I disputed and was redeemed on but never had it closed, everyone else, thank you for your comments.

The only country foreign to yours that they will allow you to log in from without closure is Nigeria.

my neteller account was closed a few months ago because i live in maryland. i called them and they did an eft deposit to my bank account for the remaining balance. you don't have to worry about them stealing your money, but mass. probably joined the doushbag states that don't allow neteller to do business with their residents.

nah umdpoker, they simply saw that i logged on from a different country and closed her down. Which is actually nice to see. Thanks guys for all your help, except gabbyy who is, I think, calling me some sort of terrorist in his thread he started, unfortunately for him, i am a mass resident just like him [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]... good laugh at least. Buh bye folks.
