5 Players Left in Home Tourney
5 players left in a home tourney, top 5 get paid (though not much, we try and keep flat payouts to encourage more players). Blinds are moving every 20 minutes, they're at 800-1600. I have 11k in chips, SB has 10k. It's folded to me on the button, I make it 4000 to go with K-J offsuit. The SB moves in on me. He's a pretty loose aggressive player, so he easily could have had a small pair. After the BB folded, I counted about 15,600 in the pot, with 6k to call. After about 3 minutes, I called, only to see his K-Q. No help came and I was out on the next hand.
What are thoughts on calling the all-in here? I thought I was getting fairly good odds since he easily could have an underpair. I also was concerned about coming back from 6k (starting chips were 5k, about 75k in play). Any thoughts on the open-raise? I assume a fold or a limp are out of the question, but was the amount right? |
