WalMart Poker Chips
I was in WalMart yesterday. They had an end display of poker chips (200 chips, circular rack, some HE rules, and cards) for about $18.50.
Nice to see them selling these in quantity, more proof of the poker boom. These are obviously cheap chips, but I never have a real home game, are they worth the price? |

Re: WalMart Poker Chips
I might get ripped to shreads, but I bought 500 4gram chips for $30 on eBay (including shipping). They are a lot nicer than the interlocking and I believe a nice starter set.

Re: WalMart Poker Chips
The chips being referred to if i am correct are the Cardinal poker chips they are roughly same size with much less weight to them My wife bought these monday night (6-7-04) They are plastic but not bicycle chips they work just fine and I am buying another set tonight for my home tourney that we are having. They are perfect if you are on a budget they stack fine they have a similar sound to that of a casino chip not like an 11.5 gram but similar you can count them much easier our home tourney monday went by quicker due to the fact we werent counting interlocking chips all night for all ins. plus with 4 colors they are perfect for what I needed, but I say to you buy em try em and take em back if they dont live up to your expectations I am on a budget and cant afford real chips plus I wanted them now as opposed to waiting for shipping times. So in essence I think they DO THE JOB they are not overly impressive but they will work for the small time home gamer.
