Preflop: Why are you raising? I don't get it.

Flop: Reraise. You have several players trapped and a huge draw against top pair. Additionally, the reraise may get you a free card on the turn.

Turn: Ouch, scary. I like just calling. Maybe you didn't have such a big draw after all...

River: Naturally, you bet your flush when it's checked to you. You won't win 'em all, but more than enough to justify this value bet.

my 2 cents.

Preflop why are you raising? Is this such a good hand against 3 opponents? This one I want to see the flop cheaply.

Flop I'm with you for value.

Turn I'm getting worried but I'm still beating a set or a limped high pocket pair or top pair or two pair or straight so I'm there for 2 bets also.

River I'm folding half the time if either of UTG or especially MP2 is known tight. I'm calling some of the time because I don't want to be a total river coward. There's a boat possibility there now too. If I know nothing I wanna see what they played. I'm not liking it and probably only rate winning at 15%, about the cost of calling. Marginal.

Why the hell wouldn't you 3 bet the turn? This flush is more than half the reason you're in this hand. Stop seeing monster's under the bed and raise your hand. You make a nice catch, and then you just call?

PF - I Love the raise here - awesome. I love the looks i get when people realize i raised 89s Pre-Flop and hit either my str8 or flush, even my poker friends who consider themselves good...sorry I digress....

Cap the flop - Lots of ways to improve here.

Re-raise the turn... (I noticed you backed off....do you consider MP2 savy enough to pump draws on the flop?)

River - standard - looks like your hand is good.

1)This hand wins way more than it's fair share. He has limpers in front of him showing no strentgh, he has position, and he may catch the Blinds to come along as well. Hero *knows* he doesn't have the best hand right now, but he is building a pot because on the flop, he very will may have the best draw to the nuts.

Good aggressive poker thinking.

nah - I don't think theres much need to slow down here. Flush over flush isn't that common. Sure it happens every now and then, but in the long run you'll win way more money by raising it here as well.

I guess this is a value bet - but to me a value bet implies that there is a chance the hand is no good.... I don't see that here.

Sarge[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

His PF bet is a better example of a value raise than the river bet.

Also, by creating a big pot preflop i tie the limpers to the pot and make it appropriate for them to draw to things such as overcards/gutshots/second pair type hands and these are the hands i want them drawing to if the flop comes in my favor...

Not sure why i didn't 3bet the flop or turn...

This is something you shouldn't get carried away with. 89s needs a ton of help, why decrease your implied odds? How would you feel if you called with it in the CO and it got raised behind you? Shitty, cause its a hand you want to play cheaply. I think doing it to vary play is a good idea, but should only be done once in a while versus players who will notice. You look like a genius when you hit, but in the long run, i think this play is a loser.

Why do you want a hand that is correct to draw to do such a thing?
