Floridian Poker Question
Hello again,
I've got some short questions for those who play in Florida. 1) Being that I live in Miami, the only casinos i know about are the Seminole Casino and the Seminole Hard Rock (SeaEscape, Casino Princessa--if you consider those casinos) That is, until yesterday. I found out yesterday that from June-September, Flagler Dog Track has high-limit poker. Now, considering both Seminole casinos play $1/2, when they say high-limit, do they mean $5/10, or do they really mean high-limits like $100/200 2) Is Flagler associated with any Indian reservations? I'm curious because there's no "Seminole" or "Miccosukee" in the name. If they are NOT associated with any indian reservation, do you have to be 18 or 21 to play? Also-- if they are NOT associated with indian ground, what's stopping anybody from opening up casinos in South Beach or Sunny Isles-- they could make tons of money. 3) Are there any card clubs in Miami? If so, let me know please. Thanks once again guys, Bye. |

Re: Floridian Poker Question
I don't know what "high" limits mean but at any dog track or anywhere in florida (on land) the max bet in a poker game is 2 bucks. that is why you can only get 1/2 and $2 flat (which is 2 bucks on every street). The casino boats do not have to abide by this though and usually spread 3/6 4/8 5/10 depending
different places have diff age requirements but if your under 18 there's no chance regards, bonanz |
