I've been waiting to sign up for Stars. Am I correct that:

1)they don't have a sign-up bonus but I can get this reload bonus of $150 by depositing $600?

2)that the games are not so tough that it is not worth clearing a bonus here?

3)there is no time limit on clearing bonus?

Is there a bonus code to enter?

Anything else to know, I am ignorant of this site. Thanks.

Maybe time to try PS. Any code you have to enter? Do MTT's count for raked hands?

Yes.

The games are tougher than most sites. That doesn't mean you won't win, just that its tougher than Party.

3)there is no time limit on clearing bonus?

no time limit. You can deposit then withdraw and play off your bonus at a later time.

Is there a bonus code to enter?

no code needed.

Tourney fees do count toward FFPs.

very cool...
and it's 25% for $150...instead of the their usual 20% for $120.

stars games are tougher than party....but i frequently find them more beatable than UB. but maybe i was just running bad on UB.

i've been doing very well on stars during their past few bonus periods.
sometimes playing 1/2 or 2/4 and other times playing squeaky-tight $100 buy-in NL.

pretty sure the bonuses clear faster at NL though.

and to answer some other questions in advance that constantly come up...

- you can NOT withdraw a single dollar BEFORE depositing...or else you won't get the bonus

- you CAN withdraw AFTER depositing (although i think you have to wait a few hours).... and the bonus-dollars will be there waiting for you to clear at any time (they do NOT expire).

i answer these q's now because someone ALWAYS asks them at every stars-bonus.
i suspect someone still might ask these questions....but i'm trying to stem the tide.

please bear in mind...i have NOT read the rules and stipulations for this particular bonus....however, i have taken advantage of their last 8-10 bonuses or so and the rules in these regards have ALWAYS been the same

(with the exception of the bonus that had to be via Central-Coin deposit which i did not take part in....and the bonus where you had to play in their $200-tourney to be eligible, which i DID take part in)

It depends what you play there. From what I heard, their tourneys are quite good in that there are plenty of fish. But I don't play tourneys, so I only know about the ring games. And IMHO, their ring games are not worth the effort even with a $150 bonus. They're generally very tight, very frequently with under 20% seeing the flop. I'll take Party anyday even without a bonus.

This has probably been discussed before, but I would like more opinions on this issue. I would be playing .5/1 and it looks like the real fish may be playing at .25/.5 and below. Is the bonus worth the attempt or stick to Party?
