Default check cashing

I'm about to get a check from Neteller for 2k.

What should I expect to pay in check cashing fees? Will they do checks as big as 2k?

What are you talking about? Can you be more specific?

I just deposit checks into my bank account, there is no charge. There is no universal check cashing charge. Your local bartender could charge you what ever he wants I guess.

If you have sufficient funds in your bank account to cover the size of the check, you should be able to cash the check with your bank for no fee. If you choose a check-cashing establishment, expect to pay 10% of the check's value.

I think he means going to a one of those checking cashing windows that are always attached to pawn shops, in order to avoid the paper trail of depositing it in your bank account.

You could try selling your online money to another player or a "broker".
In my area, we have a couple of guys that will buy online poker money dollar for dollar or at a very minimal cost. They then turn around and sell this money to players in the area that need to fund their account.
Think about how much hassle it was to fund your poker account the first time. It usually takes 3-4 days for money to get processed or you have to pay high fees for a credit card deposit, IF your credit card will accept the charges at an online gambling site, many credit cards do not allow deposits to gambling sites.
With this broker, all it takes is a phone call and your account is credited within minutes, at a reasonable cost.
No paper trail of funds for any of the parties involved.
