Re: Las Vegas Packages
I'm going July 12-19 with 4 friends, staying at the stratosphere.....airfare + hotel = $335/person. Yes I am the man. Go to tripreservations.com for the hotel and southwest if you can for air. Expeida is great for telling you all the other good places to find a deal that are way cheaper than expedia.

Re: Las Vegas Packages
no dont use packages.........
Your best bet is to do them seperately. If your planning on playing poker than geta pokerroom rate. If this is your fist time in las vegas splurge a little and stay in the heart of the strip. I am in NY also so a good airfare deal is somewhere between 225-300. They have a late flight out of laguardia that leaves at 9:47 and you get in at midnight on fridays that is the cheapest flight of the week. Its through delta. If you need more info you can PM me. |

Re: Las Vegas Packages
I second that. I bought a trip through Travelocity. A good deal, but the next week I was wishing I had just bought air when I saw a poker rate of $59 at MC. There's always good deals if you book through the casinos, you just have to watch. And hell, there so many to choose from, why commit?

Packages are generally more expensive.

Re: Las Vegas Packages
How do you get the poker rate? I assume you make the reservations through the poker room, can you do that over the phone or just after you arrive?
Thanks |

Re: bump -- what is a poker room rate?
I suggest trying Jetblue also, if you get it a few weeks in advance you can usually get $99 each way from most places in the country...Also, does anyone know of places that offer cheap weekly, and/or monthly rates in Vegas. I've never stayed out there for more than 4-5 days, but I'm looking to make a longer trip out there sometime soon.
I was out there 3-4 months ago, and they had a pretty good 2-4 NL game at Belaggio, does anybody know what other types of NL games are offered there now, and which ones are best. |
