Tells need to speak louder!!
i have only been playing poker of any kind for about 3 months now and i have become quite adept at reading and following betting patterns so much so that i am often able to pick out a hand using that strategy. but i am horrible at tells. downright aweful. and i know that reading betting patterns is only scratching the surface and reading tells are very important. am i just not that experienced yet? outside of text books(Caro) what is some good advice for a tell reading newbie such as myself?
PS it has been pointed out to me a few times that i often bring up old topics. im still new so sorry if i did it again but deal with it i wanna improve |

First, before I give you the secrets, answer me this:
Can you define 'Value Bet'? Welcome to the forum, Joe Tall |

Re: Tells need to speak louder!!
I'm not good a reading tells but I'm good at giving them off. For example, after flopping the nuts, I tell the dealer, "Keep me the nuts" while she's turning the next 2 cards. For some reason people keep calling me though.
