Default NH?

The only thing that really pisses me off nowadays is when I go all-in with the best hand and get drawn out on. And EVERY time someone at the table types "nh". It always boggles my mind how they can say nice hand when someone calls all-in with the worst hand, and then draws out. What was nice about it?

Does this piss anyone else off? I swear EVERYTIME I ever get drawn out on some moron at the table will type "nh". It's ridiculous.

Someone could call my Aces all-in with 2/7 offsuit and when they won I can guarantee someone would say nh. And then back it up with something like "it's poker, luck is involved". As if that somehow makes 2/7 offsuit a nice hand. I want to rip their throats out.

at the very least think of it this way- your opponent made a bad decision, and you want him to keep making bad decisions. if typing nh keeps the doing that then fine... of course most of the time i mute the chat, i cant stand to read most things that are typed in there

Yeah I know that probably encourages them to continue playing dumb. But it still makes me mad.

Let's be relative. You have not only just seen a "strong" player got knocked out, you have seen a "weak" player call all-in with a bad hand.

How will you "reinforce" a bad decision?? By saying "nh" to the idiot who won the hand. That way, when you raise all in with the best of it, they will call with the worst of it, and you win the money.

Yes, if you're knocked out when you have the best of it, you will be pissed off. However, the BEST thing to do is simply type "nice hand. gg" and move on to the next game. If you start to draw attention to their bad play, they will aim to play better. You want that worse than their calling you with the worst of it.

If you don't believe this thread, you'll be laughing on the other side of your face the next time you're knocked out with the worst of it.

Better luck,
Pete Harris

I went to my therapist because I thought I was paranoid.
He told me to move to New York or play internet poker.
I asked him if that would cure my paranoia.
He said no, I would still be paranoid, .........but it would be justified.
