No luck, but not for trying. Please critique this hand.
Well, at least I gave myself a chance:

Preflop- Accident? If not a mistake
Flop- Call the raise, you want to KEEP players in the pot Turn-Check/call unless MP1 is maniac River-Maybe the odds justify a call, but I dont see you wininng this pot |

Preflop is definately a call.
Flop is a check/call from UTG. I like the rest. If the river is 2 back to you though I would consider a fold, even with a huge pot. Great playing by UTG. |

Re: No luck, but not for trying. Please critique this hand.
I was chasing the flush from the get-go.
PreFlop: Poker Tracker replay says I was 14.6%, so a raise was wrong, even with 6 callers. PostFlop: If I'm 2.2:1 to the flush, isn't a raise +EV if 3 people call? Turn: Same. I couldn't see a full house or quads coming. River: Can I blame it on Ed? Maybe a little too much tilt factor? |

Preflop- just complete, dont raise. What what I maent by mistake.
Flop-You are asking the field to cold call 2 bets, dont give them a reason to fold. Turn- Like I said "unless" villian is a maniac. Most opponents dont cap the flop with TPTK so betting the turn makes little sense. River-If its only one bet, than yea call (I guess). If it was two? FOLD |

Re: No luck, but not for trying. Please critique this hand.
My inexpert opinion:
I don't like the pre-flop raise. What exactly are you trying to accomplish with it? Bet on flop looks okay to me. I wouldn't 3-bet it though. Hmm... that's a nasty kicker. I'd just check-call. Nasty looking river. I'd still call--the pot is simply huge, and someone might maybe hopefully have only AQ, or have been in with high cards/better flush draws. Probably not, but I'd call on the off chance for just one bet. |

I fold the river unless I know both players are total retards.

Re: No luck, but not for trying. Please critique this hand.
There's been some discussion on here that says that 3-betting this flop is the correct move. You're pumping your near nut flush draw. I can understand the logic that there's so many people in the hand that you don't want to make them all call two cold, but LL players probably will.

Re: No luck, but not for trying. Please critique this hand.
In my experience the LL players aren't calling everything. If they already put in one bet, they will call another. But many will fold on the flop if its two bets they have to coldcall.
Of course it depends on the specific players, but I have seen plenty of players that I wouldn't mind having in the hand past the flop drop to a raise-reraise. |

River: Can I blame it on Ed? [/ QUOTE ] Ed does not make you call the river. Conversely, you do not pay Ed a royalty for using his advice to win big pots. |
