I may not have got them in as quickly as you did, but they would have got there eventually. I would have been afraid teh all-in was too big and bet less, but he surely would have pushed and I would have happily called.

I go broke. This is one of those "if you can let this go, you shouldn't be playing" type of hands. Had something similar happen to me other day with AK and KK5 flop. Other guy had 55. I didn't feel a bit bad about it. It's just unlucky.

Same exact type of hand on 955 flop earlier, I had 66 and dropped post flop... one guy had 99 other had 55 ... 55 over doubled up 99 had 3500 chips left.

2 hrs 48 mins into trny 16 outta money bust out pushing with JJ preflop AK calls K flops, was a coin flip.

That is just oneof the hands not much u can do about, no way to put the guy on quads unless you are one HELL of a reader.

One question.

Why didn't you bet the flop?

Throw out a 600-700t bet and you'll at least have some idea what your up against.

You may have come up with the same scenario in the end, but then again you may have made the right read and completed the perfect laydown.

I think you waited way too long before pulling the trigger and trapped yourself. By not betting the flop or turn, and hoping to "squeeze" the other players, you left yourself open to overpairs (slim chance I know) and weren't able to define your hand.

ps-I'm a wimp I admit....I find it very hard to commit all my chips against someone whose shown aggression (a reraise) without a mortal lock

pps-sorry about the quads

HUSKER... I was hoping a card would come up to get someone to bet on... My plan was to let someone else lead out the betting, then go all in on the river hoping someone would think I was trying to steal once they got something decent.

Unfortunately, this backfired on me

It hurt, certainly. I ended up in 4th in the tournament though, so I really can't complain too much
