Default Most Incredible NL Hand I Have Been Involved In

Please feel free to critique this as you see fit. This is by far the most amazing NL hand I could have conceived of being involved in at this point in my play. Be as harsh as you want -- I don't think anything will make me feel bad about this.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (10 handed)

UTG+2 ($15.55)
MP1 ($19.75)
MP2 ($12.35)
MP3 ($12.45)
CO ($23.50)
Button ($33.20)
SB ($73.35)
BB ($16.15)
UTG ($55.75)
Hero ($27.85)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Flop: ($15.25) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, Button bets $5, BB raises to $13.15 (All-In), UTG calls $13.15, Hero raises to $24.85 (All-In), UTG+2 folds, Button raises to $30.2 (All-In), UTG calls $17.05.

Turn: ($113.65) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players, 3 all-in)

River: ($113.65) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players, 3 all-in)

Final Pot: $113.65
Main Pot: $67.85, between Button, BB, UTG and Hero. > Pot won by Hero ($67.85).
Pot 2: $35.10, between Button, UTG and Hero. > Pot won by Hero ($35.10).
Pot 3: $10.70, between Button and UTG. > Pot won by UTG ($10.70).

it was a bad preflop call, but it's a lot better than the call by AA and KK.

you should never slowplay big pairs to trap?

Or are you referring to the flop calls?

You mean trap yourself? I can see the UTG player limping in with the intent of re-raising (especially if it's an agressive table), but there's no reason UTG shouldn't have re-raised when button raised to $3. You're getting all of the button's stack in pre-flop.

While AA doesn't mind as many callers as possible, I think it needs to get in all the money as a favorite.

I played this hand back for my roommate, and he pretty much said the same thing - "How was this not all-in pre-flop, at least two ways?" I should not have been let into this pot. It was the end of the session. My other two tables were closed. The auto post blind button was unchecked. I wanted to play this hand just to play since I already had a good session. There is no way I should have been let into this flop. If it's re-raised, there's no way I get in.

Haven't read through everyone else's responses, yet, but I'm sure some are conveying the same message that I'm thinking... "DON'T get into the habit of calling pre-flop raises with 10/8"!!! Although you came out ahead in this hand, calling a pre-flop raise with this hand (and such short stacks) is -EV over the long run.

I remember when I had 65o and played UTG because it was my last hand of the session. A few callers, flop came Q55. I bet and was called. Turn came an A. I bet, someone raised, I called all in. River came a blank, and he flipped over A5o. I was owned.

Since then I don't play the last hand of a session anymore.
