Flopping trips.
When I flop trips with the board paired at low limit tables I like to bet out right away. I find that I'll get raised there because the people I'm playing against will think "He'd slow-play if he had trips." So I smooth call there, and check-raise the turn. What do you think of this play? Dog |

Re: Flopping trips.
I play it that way sometimes. I also will check/call the flop somtimes and pop the turn. It depends on position, how many bets I can extract, and how good my kicker is.

Re: Flopping trips.
That's how I play it at a loose passive. BTW, if I'm re-raised on the turn and my kicker is below a Q or a flush just hit then I call it down. Trips are pretty vulnerable.
