Default My First Hand History Post

These are some of my worst played hands, any comments would be appreciated.

************************************************** *
Hand 1
Party Poker Pot-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Results in white below:
Hero shows Qd Qc (one pair, queens).
MP3 shows As Ah (one pair, aces).
Outcome: MP3 wins $36.75.

No clue on what I was doing with this hand. I feel I should of bet a little more on the flop or turn (push on turn?), but I didn't think he was gonna call both of them anyway.

Pot 2: $6.45, overbet by SB.

Results in white below:
SB shows As Kc (straight, ace high).

Not sure why I played this hand or called on the inside straight draw. In the back of my mind I was worried about the AK, but I couldn't get myself to fold? Or should I have just let it go since he was overbetting the pot so much.

This is probably just a software problem, the new PP update comes with a fold button so you should be fine.

hand 1: what do you put him on. why bet the river?
hand 2: fold. fold. check/call or check/fold depending on opponent.
hand 3: fold/pot the flop depending on opponent, then slow down. why bet the turn/river? what is he calling with that you beat?

I guess my problem is when i see someone just calling my bets, I see it as a sign of weakness. Most likely they are drawing for their straight/flush/draw. I assume they would be raising me if they had me beat and that probably gets me in trouble every now and then.

Hand 1: DEFINITELY re-raise preflop. I'd come back over the top for about 6 more... maybe 8. There's a 48% chance a K or A will come on the flop. What do you do then? You know you're ahead (most of the time) so reraise. If he pops back, you'll know you're beat (such would have been the case almost definitely) and it's an easy fold. You woulda saved $20 or so if you just popped him back to see where you were at.
Also, definitely pop all-in on the turn. It's more intimidating plus once there's 25 in the pot, that last 5 has to go in no matter what the river, so just do it now.

2nd hand: FOLD!!! With 6 callers to a raise before you, I wouldn't think I was ahead even if a king flopped. Don't look for a miracle flop here. Easy fold.

3rd hand: I don't mind the flop raise too much actually... it could be used to bluff any ace with a low kicker. I'd only use that one rarely, though. The $10 turn bet is absolutely atrocious. It's a bluff at that point because anyone who can take the heat of betting and raising with an ace on the board has you beat bad. Gotta get away from KK when that A hits!
