Should I have slowed down sooner with my AA?

Now I hadn't been at the table that long, but I had taken a pretty big pot away from MP2 in an almost fish-like manner just a few hands earlier. Since then, I had a slight feeling he was tilting a bit.

Even so, does it seem like I was too in love with my hand?

SB checks, Hero bets, UTG folds, MP2 raises, SB folds, Hero 3-bets, MP2 caps, Hero calls.

Now I'm not really believing he has a 6, I'm thinking a J.

Turn: (8 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) 
Hero bets, MP2 raises, Hero calls.

I can't believe the 8 helps him, but should I have gone into check-calling mode already, after he capped the flop?

River: (12 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) 
Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls.

Again, I don't believe the 7 helps him. Can't believe he'd cap the flop on a runner runner straight or flush draw.

Final Pot: 14 BB

Results in white below: 
Hero shows Ah Ad (two pair, aces and sixes).
MP2 shows Js Ks (two pair, jacks and sixes).
Outcome: Hero wins 14 BB. 

Any thoughts, or was this ok?

You played this fine. I might even think about check raising the turn and see how he reacts to that, good hand!
