Default Empire 25k guaranteed moved to 9pm EST by customer request

This was originally scheduled for 4pm EST (10pm CET). Now it has been moved by popular customer request. This apparently involved placing a bag over Mr Empire Poker's head, putting him on a table and attaching wires to his fingers. Now the European Empire players have to endure sleep deprivation to take part.

<cough bull shi.t>

They were far from the 25k guaranteed with just 34 players.

I hate when poker sites do scummy things like this.

$25K guaranteed and fewer than 40 players signed up.

Obviously there were a lot of requests... ahem.

Nothing to do with the fact that less than 40 of the 250 required signed up...

Yeah that was one of my planned plays today. I'm playing the Party $215 NLH and their $640 WSOP seat later. I would have liked Empire's tournament with the huge +EV this afternoon. Maybe Empire will now have software issues later unless the player numbers pick up.

As I said before this is just a scummy thing for a poker site to pull a few hours before the start.

my guess is that they will say that them moving it caused too much confusion, so they are gonna cancel until next week or reschedule.

if this thing goes off with a massive overlay, i'll be there. i just gotta figure out what my empire name was.

19 mins left before end of registration with 39 people. I went for a shower and came back and it was postponed, very annoying. The one last night, $50 10k guaranteed had 65 people in.

Such massive +EV, wouldn't be surprised if they cancel again tonight if noone turns up though.

5:35 PST and, surprisingly enough, I can't load any of the multi's. Strange. *sarcasm off*

This is behaviour I would expect from a cheesy neighbourhood card room.

Tuco.
