holding 44 flop is j 9 4 player holds a j what are the odds that he runs a a on the turn and river?if it can be figured im just curios

Well, we know what 7 of the cards are, so, on the Turn you're 42 to 3 (14 to 1) against, or 7% of the time you'll score; on the River you're 41 to 2 (a little worse than 20 to 1) against, or 4.8% of the time you'll score. I think that if you multiply those together (0.066 * 0.048= 0.0032) you'll get the liklihood of those two events happening which comes to 0.32% of the time. Statisticians please correct me.

In this particular example, the odds against him getting running aces are 1892 to 1.

Why worry about that particular method of beating you? You are also beaten by J9 (6), AJ (6), 99 (3), and JJ (1). Together with AA (3), there are 19/990 ways for you to lose, assuming that there are no flushes possible.
