Default Poker Tracker

I have seen a few posts on here regarding poker tracker, and was wondering if it's worth the investment? I play pretty much $100 NL on Party, so for half a buy in I would buy it, if it really is useful and easy to use. Do I need to feed it hands from my email account, or does it just follow my play, as I play? Thanks guys!

I just bought it a few days ago and I'm sure I'm not using it to nearly its full potential, but I already love it. You do have to feed it hands, but it's pretty easy. You can start an auto-request that will request hands as often as you'd like, and when you feel like it you click "check my email for hand histories."

The most use I've gotten out of it is to play for an hour or so at a 6max table, then sit out for an orbit (prob. not a bad idea anyway) and look at players' tendencies. For very basic starters, you can see % preflop raise, put $ in voluntarily, and number of hands you've played with the opponent. I was surprised how big the spread among players was. For example, I saw that one guy had raised only 2% preflop in 80 hands and another had put in $ voluntarily 65% in 150 hands, etc (not surprisingly, this is at Party 25). Anyway, I recommend it.

If you plan on being a serious player it's simply a necessity.
