Book Projects
Hi Everyone:
This is a copy of a post of mine from the News, Views, and Gossip forum. Best wishes, mason Hi dayrn: You hit the nail on the head. The biggest EV for me by far is in our publishing business. I would like to play a few tournaments, and this includes the no limit tournaments, but I literally don't have time. I am now committed to four different book projects. The first everyone knows about. It's called Small Stakes Hold 'em; Winning Big with Expert Play by Ed Miller, David Sklansky, and Mason Malmuth. The second is Business is a Poker Game by Allan Schoonmaker who thinks he owns the Psychology forum. The books three and four are not titled yet but a portion of the first of these is written and I have material to review. All I will say now is that the author of these books is a former WSOP winner and they are about no limit hold 'em tournament strategy. As I get more into the project, I will release more information. Best wishes, Mason |

Re: Book Projects
What are the odds that it is Dan Harrington?
My second guess would be Chris Ferguson. I would like to read books by either indeed. |

Re: Book Projects
Ferguson was my guess as well...I doubt Mason will spill the beans anytime soon. Maybe we can lay odds and start taking action.

Re: Book Projects
Mason,
A serious question from one of the least serious posters around. Which is more difficult: Playing winning poker - or - Writing and publishing a quality book? Regards, Zeno PS I know the answer. But I want you to say it. |

Re: Book Projects
I wouldn't be surprised if Mason delineated a difference between "winning" poker, and "world class."
After all, winning poker isn't that difficult. Learning to play ABC winning poker isn't tremendously hard. |
