Default My hand against Phil Hellmuth

Here's a hand I played against Phil tonight at UB. This is quite a good game. It's 1/2 with full kill. This is not a kill hand.

I'm in LMP with KK. Phil limps, MP raises, I 3 bet, folded back to Phil who caps it off.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Phil bets, MP folds, I call.

Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Phil bets, I raise, Phil calls.

River: T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Phil bets, I wuss out and just call.

He has JJ and MHIG.

My conclusion: I must be better than Phil Hellmuth.

Did you get full value for your hand?

Good luck,
play well,

Phil isn't playing 1/2 at UB...who faked you out?
Was this a PH Special 1/2 at UB where he either...

A) Got his WSOP entry paid by UB to play 100 hands of 1/2

B) Got a free mic and webcam from UB so he could bitch at all of you about how you could possibly make it $ preflop with QQ.

C) He is trying to hone his ring game skills and is building a bankroll before moving up levels?

D) All of the above.

I'm goin with D!

I think the real question is whether or not Phil whined about the hand afterward.

"You called me down with that?!?!"

Every WPT clip I see with Phil in it involves him complaining about being beat. Is this typical of him?

Phil didn't say a word, which leads me to believe that it probably wasn't actually him...

"You called 30K with QJ!?!?!?!"

I've seen him take some brutal beats, but he is comical to watch!

I stand fast on D or it wasn't really him.

I had some guy on Party tell me he was Phil, playing 1/2 as a matter of fact. Was some time ago...anyway...he said he was teaching his girlfriend while waiting for 30/60...I asked him what his wife thought about that.

He didn't have much to say after that...
