Default KQo UTG

In a recent small stake post there has been som discussion over KQo UTG. The player in question raised the hand and people seem to have different opinions on this.

To me it seems like a hand you have to raise. It's not a good hand in a family pot. Raising should knock some people out and if you happen to get 3-bet you need to be carefull. Most hands that can dominate yours is usually worth a 3-bet preflop so why not find out right away while also limiting the field?

Its marginal but its a hand I normally raise. People will call with so much crap KQo actually figures to dominate many calling hands.

I limp early with this and, if I'm first in, I'll raise with it from middle position on back...otherwise just call and see the flop.

Are you kidding me?!!?

KQo is an easy fold in EP unless in the loosest passivest of games?

Someone argue with me here, but isn't this a very basic positional concept?!?!?!?!?

Folding KQo (and AJo) is much too weak-tight in any game 20-40 and lower. I always play this UTG in the Mirage 20-40 game and often raise with it.

I wouldn't fold it if I had magical powers that told me the flop would be seen by all ten players. Why would you want to fold it simply because a lot of people may see the flop?
