Mangled play with 99, what should I have done?
"Hi efferbody!"
Early stages of a tournament. About 140 left out of 190. Blinds are T25 and T50. I have T1050. I pick up 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in UTG+2. Folded to me, I raise to T175. Folded to a larger stack in late position with T2750 who calls. Blinds fold, heads up. No strong read on this guy's play ... has won a fair number of pots without showing, but has not been overly aggressive. Any hands he has shown down to date have been reasonable. Flop comes 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. With a pot of T425 and my remaining stack around T875, is this an easy all-in? Or is there a better line of play? |
