Borgota Poker Rate: $39

Stayed at the Borgota for the 1st time Tuesday and Wed. 1st night was comp’ed room. The second night, my friends left, but I was eating up the $6/$12 so decided to camp out for another night. The floor gave a $39 rate for 8 hours in the Poker Room, as long as hat 8 was in the last 24 hrs.

I have always love Trop and the tourn’s there. But after 2 days in the Borgota, I may never go back to Trop. Trop has the same room deal (for 6 hrs) but the Borgata is a palace in comparison.

The tourn’s at the borgata are very good. I played day #1, $30 +10 and was booted early but the potential winner. (bad beat story). But she was at the final table again the next night, so we know she’s a player.

Just giving you a head’s up if you are going to play and need a room.

The rate is for Sunday through Thursday nights. The Fri-Sat poker rate is substantially higher.

Does anybody know how long this rate runs into the summer? Can you just call up and reserve a room through the normal process and then get the rate after you played or do you have to get the room through the poker room?

Call Borgata. They'll give you one of those membership account thingies and reserve the room at that rate. Just remind the reservationist that you want the poker rate.

Anybody know if there's a minimum play level for this deal? Just curious because I'm heading up next month and play mostly 2/4 & 3/6.

i am going to borg. tom. night, does time played in the tourneys count toward this deal? anyone going to be around, never met a 2+2er i am kinda loneresque. any comments on this tuesd. tourney would be cool too.

My advice for the tournament. Register early. It sells out an hour or less after they open the registration at 3.

Register real early. I played in the 30+10 on monday and at 5 oclock when the sign up started it was packed. We went down at 5:10 and the line was pretty huge. Not sure if everyone there got in but there were a ton of people.
