Default If you play 1/2 6max like me - go check out the NL25 6 for good times.

UTG is worst player ever-he usually just goes all in with random cards. He was up to $200, putting some incredible beats on everyone. He has just reloaded now and is at it again. MP has been the benefactor of UTG's fall from glory, largely due to picking up KK and AA in succession.
I am posting this because hands like this are extremely common in these games (and probably the higher stakes as well). So go play in them if you haven't already. But, don't sit at my table. I don't play NL much, just learning. I usually just sit around winning small pots until hands like these...

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 max, 6 handed)

MP ($157.67)
Hero ($27.75)
Button ($24.80)
SB ($24)
BB ($19)
UTG ($24)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $24 (All-In), MP calls $24, Hero raises to $27.75 (All-In), Button folds, SB folds, BB calls $18.50 (All-In), MP calls $3.75.

Flop: ($98.75) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players, 3 all-in)

Turn: ($98.75) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players, 3 all-in)

River: ($98.75) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players, 3 all-in)

Final Pot: $98.75
Main Pot: $76.25, between MP, Hero, BB and UTG. > Pot won by Hero ($76.25).
Pot 2: $15, between MP, Hero and UTG. > Pot won by Hero ($15).
Pot 3: $7.50, between MP and Hero. > Pot won by Hero ($7.50).

Results in white below:
BB shows 9d 9c (two pair, aces and nines).
UTG shows 5h 5d (two pair, aces and fives).
MP shows 4h 8h (one pair, aces).
Hero shows Ks Ad (three of a kind, aces).
Outcome: Hero wins $98.75.

You know you were behind PF right?

55% to lose against both the 99 and the 55 however against both your odds are about 63% to lose...

I am not even going to adress the 4h8h...

Not that it makes it a bad call, but just know that you were Just barely getting the odds to make it. Even then you were not the favortie in the hand. Until the flop that is...

I will check out the 6-max no limit though, thanks.

Yeah, and of course Book chimes in as I am writing my post; thus making my reply completely repetitive and altogether unecessary...

Thanks Book

The interesting thing here is that AK is actually better of with both the 55 and 99 playing then against either individually.

With both of them in AK wins more than it's fair share, with the 55 being the big loser. HU AK is, of course, the dog against either hand (and it's not really a coin flip either, unless you consider a coin weighted 55/45 to be fair)

Also interesting is that the addition of the 4h8h hurts 99 the most.

equity (%) win (%) / tie (%)

Hand 1: 32.4762 % [ 32.42 00.06 ] { AdKs }
Hand 2: 36.9067 % [ 36.85 00.06 ] { 9d9c }
Hand 3: 16.0780 % [ 16.02 00.06 ] { 5h5d }
Hand 4: 14.5391 % [ 14.48 00.06 ] { 8h4h }

I was about to say you played that like the crackhead you described. That is a drawing hand(a good one but still a drawing hand). Also the players at party are so horrible that they will go all in with weak pockets and and not think they are being dominated by AA or face pockets. That said if I get 3 other monkeys I might do that if my roll is fat...........
