Default how to play pocket rockets?

okay, local casino, 20-40$ i was sitting there 4 hours with no reasonable hand no pots won!!! the table is full of calling station, who play all kinds of crap but sometimes fold preflop when facing a double bet!
i got black Aces in the BB, 4 limpers and SB raises, i 3 bet-> to my suprise all 4 limpers call and SB caps, all call! the flop is:
10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
SB bets, i raise all call!
Turn:
2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
SB checks, i bet and get called by 3 players.
tha River:
Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I see that the SB wants to bet, but he quickly thinks about it and checks! in that moment i put him on pocket Q's, because he only plays high pocket pairs that way preflop!
i check, so does the rest of the field, and of course...he shows the pocket Q's and wins the pot.

how was my play?
any opinions?

This is exactly the type of situation where you have to try to wait for the turn to raise.

You played fine.

The comment about waiting to raise the turn has merit to fold out a Jack or 6. But, even that may not be enough pressure.

QQ was never folding.
