AT LL when do you stop re-raising heads up?
Until the fish runs out of funds?
I didn't want to humiliate him, he was quite the donator, but he was left with $10 or less on the table after I was done. This was B&M game... and you just don't get this dream scenario very often. The hand: [ignoring suites] I raise PF, only he calls. Flop: 6Q6 He bets, I raise, he calls Turn: Ten Then it goes something like this: He bets I raise He re-raises I re-raise He re-raises I re-raise He re-raises I re-raise He re-raises I re-raise He re-raises I re-raise He re-raises I decide to just call. River: 9 He checks, I bet, he calls. I have: qq He has: tt I almost never fear quads... Any comments appreciated. Happy weekend all! -Brian |

I would have taken those last 10.

Re: AT LL when do you stop re-raising heads up?
He didn't give me chance on river and I think he came to his senses, finally.
I've been advised NOT to take it too far, we want him to come back and tell his friends, I myself may be playing there A LOT in the coming months. Plus, I didn't want the whole table at this limit, 'after' me or a visit in the parking lot. That was the ONLY wild raise-a-thon hand at that table in 3 hours.... $10 aint worth all that. If you are gonna go 12 bets, you might as well go the 2 or 3 more needed to finish him off.

I think at the time I might have been caught in the headlights, it was the first time I had this situation.
Looking forward to the next one! |
