Final Table Hand
This hand is from the final table of a Party Poker $11 multitable tourney. It's obviously a horrendous bad beat (on the turn my opponent had 1 out left) but did I play it correctly?

Re: Final Table Hand
Ouch...tough beat. I would have played this hand differently though. i would have done the same preflop. I would have raised after the flop. I surely have the best hand and no cheap flush draws. Then Q-Q will reraise and I will cap. On the turn it would be checked to me and I would bet. If I got raised I would call knowing another [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] gives me the nut flush. On the river I bet if not raised on the turn and call a raise if one comes, or if raised on the turn I check and call. It does seem though that the three flush is the only thing that saved you from having Q-Q pound you untill the end and then get his 2 outer. A good thing and a tough beat all in one. An intresting hand.

Re: Final Table Hand
I'd raise the flop. I know you'd still have lost but I think its better than calling and raising the turn.
