Default Party Affiliate Program, trying to scrw me?

I am a small time affiliate. Basically have 2 or 3 friends under me, and my own account. So I am used to getting my own rake rebate.

I do not activly try to get people to sign under me. Just my friends.

I signed up for the 20% Gross Revenue program, and get back maybe $50-$60 a month. Thats is until last month.

I have been somewhat busy and have not logged onto my affilate manger in a few weeks. Knowing that I should have some revenue for February, I tried to log on. To my frustration I couldn't log in. Atempts to have my password emailed to me had the site tell me that there were no affiliates with my email addresss!

WTF is this?

I wrote to Party and iGlobal and this is the response...

> In response to your e-mail, we would like to inform you that the system has closed your account, as you have not got any sign ups in the past 3-4 months.

> XXXXX, our system is made in such a way that it closes the accounts which are inactive for 3-4 months. You can get in touch with your affiliate manager Mr. Nikhil with this regard.

e-mail once he is in the office the day after.

I responded that I am to recieve 20% gross revenue FOR THE LIFE OF THE ACCOUNT and am awaiting the response from Mr. Nikhil.

Has this happened to others?

All I can say is that this is very convienent for Party as there will eventually be a slowing down of new players and most of us will lose this "LIFE OF THE ACCOUNT" revenue.

Interesting replies.

Compared to Al Capone. Exactly what did I do wrong here? I guess until the masses get screwed its not a big deal....

i'm not about to compare the severity of your crimes to capone's, but when your post confesses blatantly breaking the affiliate rules and you complain about getting your account shut down...

go complain to party if you want, but i doubt the posters here will offer you much sympathy.

Getting your own rake rebate is against the T&Cs.

Default What happened to Al Capone?

I think he just meant that with his friends under him, they cover the cost of his rake, not that he was cheating.
