Default Poor play by me, what about by him?

I realize I made a few mistakes on this hand, but my specific question is about CO's play.
In this specific instance, it worked out well for him. But in the long run, it seems like giving this many free cards is a poor play.

He had been playing pretty tightly and passively. So I know my river call was bad, since the pot was so small, and he probably wouldn't raise with anything I could beat.

Anyway, here's the hand.

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO calls, Button folds, SB folds, Hero checks.

Flop: (2.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks.

Turn: (1.25 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks.

River: (1.25 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 5.25 BB

Results in white below:
Hero shows Th 7s (one pair, tens).
CO shows Kc Kd (one pair, kings).
Outcome: CO wins 5.25 BB.

Dude, that was horrific. You should have bet for information when you hit the 10's. What the hell were you doing calling a raise on the river.
You're a fishy fish, and the other guy is an uber fish!
Quit the game while you're ahead.

If the CO had posted this hand, my advice would be: Raise preflop, bet or raise at any opportunity.

Since you posted this hand, my advice is, don't worry about this hand too much, he extracted very little. Oh, and bet the turn.

What are you contributing by flaming someone UberSuper? That's the type of logic that I don't understand.

Hmm. a person with a grand total of one post flaming away. You don't want to have the reputation of being a total jerk otherwise people will just not respect any of your posts or opinions.

If I were you I'd bet the turn...

As for the CO's play, sometimes I see people open limping in late position with the premium hands as to not "drive out customers." His thought process probably went something like this: "Hmm... Folded all the way to me, damn. If I raise, the blinds may fold. I'll limp in and hope to get in some extra bets there."

The problem with this thinking is that the CO may not get any money from you regardless, so he's better off raising anyhow because a late position player open raising can mean anything and will usually look like he's trying to steal the blinds and if you have any kind of decent hand you'd defend.

But once the hand is going, I see no reason for the CO not to bet on all the streets because wasn't that the whole point of him letting you see the flop for free?

As Bison said, dont' worry too much about it. He didn't get much from you and he was very lucky that he got anything at all because if you don't hit that ten on the turn, he's getting nothing out of you.

I work with him. Sit in the same room. You should have heard how hard I was laughing when he read my response outloud.

Bet the turn. Heads up you have a strong hand and you especially don't want a random overcard getting a free go at outdrawing you.
