Default Congrats ...

to 2+2 regular Myrtle, aka John DeRose, who made the final table in the limit holdem event yesterday.

Also, John just called me from his cell phone, a bit before 10am. There were already 1100 people entered into the $300 NLH event today, and at least another 100 in line, hoping they could find a way to get in. He also told they were starting the event with 12 players to a table (11 if it's a stud table), in order to accommodate all of these players.

What a nightmare.

Later, Greg Raymer (FossilMan)

Any predictions for how many entrants they'll have for sunday's $500 event?

I'd like to play, but I can't pre-register and I'm not going to drive all the way down there if there is a chance I'll be shut out of the tournament.

Well if there were over a 1000 for the 300 dollar event, expect at least that many for the Sunday. Especially since the friday event was at 10am and I'm sure many of us who would have liked to play didn't due to...you know...work.

As many as Foxwoods allows. Every event is going to sell out. If you don't get there very early you will most likely be shut out.
