Default Need suggestions for personal finance books

I'm looking for information on investing, taxes, savings options, and many other things associated with personal finance. Are there any good books worth reading?

Some of my favorites:

Die Rich and Tax Free by Barry Kaye

The Warren Buffett Way
The Warren Buffett Portfolio
Buffettology

also:
Contarian Investment Strategies by David Dreman
Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits by Philip Fisher
The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham

Depending on your knowledge and the amount of detail/depth you want, these books are roughly listed from easy read to difficult.
My knowledge is limited, so what is difficult to me may be elementary to others.

Hope this list is helpful.
JTrout.

for general stuff you can't do better than the motley fools. great for beginners. as far as investing, I would suggest Vic Niederhoffers new book, and his site which is
daily speculations.com he takes a little getting used to but a brilliant mind who hangs out with other brilliant minds.
good luck

Is the Berry Kaye book the best one for someone that's new to all this? I'm thinking I'll try one good book and then go from there if I feel I need more.

For generalized info about just about everything, the Consumer Reports Money Book.

For the investment markets, Burton Malkiel's "A Random Walk Down Wall Street" and John Bogle's "Common Sense on Mutual Funds." Malkiel is fun to read even, and an indispensable classic. If you're going to invest through mutual funds, Bogle is the patron saint of the industry, and one of its harshest critics.

My .02. Gl, and have fun,

@nth

I've always liked The Wealthy Barber as a good easy read for an initiation into personal finance.

I used to go to their site a few years ago, but I didn't buy into the whole idea. Are they still trying to sell the concept that "you are as smart as stock brokers, you have all the same information at your fingertips, you can pick stocks better than mutual fund managers"?
