Just had to brag. So glad the guy kept re-raising me. Wouldn't it suck to be on the other end of this hand?

the guy who made his straight was jamming it like it was the nuts. i mean, who's raising with a worse hand? with TTA on the flop, it's too risky to draw to the straight. By the river, he loses to AA,KK,JJ (not likely as no raise), AT, KT, JT, TT. which are all limper hands (maybe only the button would play KTs).

am i right? please correct me if i'm wrong. but from where i am, at the other end of this hand is a twit who can't tell when a straight is second best.

All the best,
Peter Harris

I totally agree. He needs to learn when to call and not keep on re-rasing.

You gotta love idiots like this, and also the other idiots who keep capping when the flop comes TTK and they hold Ace ten to your Pocket Kings thinking top set top kicker is best.

One of the biggest problems I've seen with new players to the game is their inablity to judge what's a winning hand in a given circumstance. Every time somebody new joins our home game they'll end up playing 2 pair or a straight like it's the nuts when their up agaist a board and bets that should scare them out of the room.

Is this really an idiot play? I might cap in this situation. Especially depending on the pre-flop action.
