The Gap Concept
Would someone be able to give me a basic description of this concept? (or direct me to an appropriate earlier post) Is it something that would be helpful for someone who plays in online $5 tournaments, or is it something that should only be deployed against sophisticated opponents?
Thanks |

Re: The Gap Concept
Thanks for this.
If my understanding is correct, in later stages of a tournament (where the blinds have increased substantially) it may be appropriate to raise (when folded to) with hands that previously were only suitable for limping in with. A re-raise, from a player that does not believe I am deploying this concept, should lead to a fold. |

Re: The Gap Concept
Right, but we're in the SnG forum and talking about $5 tournaments where players think A6o is a good enough hand to call a raise or an all in even early in the tournament.
