You know who the five are. Affiliates. A lowering of rakes means they lose income from their signups through them. Have you once ever noticed an affiliate who voiced a negative comment about a rake increase? Of course not, for every increase theres added income for them. If they sign up 10 people per month, after three years they will achieve a yearly income of 135,000 according to Party Poker. That's big money, and by god they aren't going to let anyone change that without a big fight first. Just mention lower rakes on message boards and they will jump all over you.

Kind of reminds me of Standard Oil back in the old days. These guys think they are little Rockefellers!!

Zee,

Your poll cracked me up! Thanks for the chuckle. I promise I will never again post a subject header in ALL CAPS. I really didn't know this was in bad form, but from your poll I see this to be the big issue.

Please forgive my insolence, ignorance is no excuse.

Oh wait Zee, I take exception to you referring to my well thought out and carefully written posts as "incessant ramblings"! I'd prefer you to think of them as "jewels of wisdom". I mean, after all, I do.
