Default Excellent Article

When will the government learn that prohibition never works. It didn't work with alcohol and it's not working with drugs or gambling. Requardless of whether it is right or wrong, when are we going to stop spending money fighting these ills of society and just tax the living hell out of them and spend it on education or something. Not that I'm advocating taxing the hell out of online poker, we all know that's not gambling, but hey get the bingo and slots sites.

I always love your Libertarian/individual rights' links, but this one misses a big reason to allow gambling to be legal...the "permission" for problem gamblers to seek help. It is much easier for a person with an alcohol problem to admit it than a person with an illega drug problem.

As a result, more problems get hidden and not solved.
