So I'm sitting there at the gaming club 25-50 table with an opponent I have a lot of respect for who has 13k. I have almost never seen him make what I consider a mistake. We decide not to play each other and he lets me play the next guy that come in without interfearing and making it harder for me. We played about 10 hands against each other earlier today and I won a little of him and left to do some work. I don't want to bother editing this chat and cutting out the irrelevant parts so I will just post the whole thing for whoever wants to read. Not sure how interesting it is to everyone else but it was for me since I have never heard much about eric123 besides him being an amazing online player. You get to learn a bit about poker in sweden too.

One affiliate taking out 12k and raising a month, think how much money get taken out alltogether.
I don't blame eugeneel for doing it, just the sites for using affiliates, when refer a friend bonuses would bring in just as many players.
Party increased their rake to pay for the affiliates, and we ALL lose on that.

I'm a little curious about the legality of affiliate programs. Once you start making that kind of money, I'm pretty sure the IRS will want their cut.

How does this work, since it is my understanding that internet affiliate programs where you get a percentage cut are borderline illegal, ie. it is, but is not really high on the list of enforcement right now.
