Default PokerRoom.com- question on play there

Does anyone play there?
I have been reading their forum when I am bored at work and done with this forum of course. The majority of posters seem like they don't have a clue. Good for a laugh alot of times. So is the play awful there or just the posts?

It's one of my stops - play there when a 2/4 game is loose and has an opening.

My view is that they are slightly better them most places with preflops below 40% quit often. Passive but tight for the most part.

I've play there. I still stop by now and then. I've only played $1/2 tables. Those seem quite soft.

Pros: 1/2 games are soft.

Cons: Bonus take a long time to clear
Software is crappy.
Can only play one table at a time.

Sam

Pokerroom is one of the only 2 sites I play in - Party is the other. It is a very small site, small player base and limited game choices.

The plus side:

1) Because of no download feature, I can play anywhere - at work during break time and even friends' houses.

2) Because it is small, it is easy to keep track of the loosie regulars - almost like finding ATM cards with PIN numbers.

3) Although there are limited tables, getting a seat is very easy as players come and go.

4) Fast pace action which I really like

5) Very good giveaways - e.g. Get a RSF in diamonds -$500 and $50 for any other suits. (I won $50 in hearts but before their valentine promotion when RSF in hearts was for a cool grand). Spot cash prizes for winning a hand at certain time of the day. (I just won one last Sat for $50)
5) Player points that accummulate to cash. Works like a comp in a casino. I have accumulated about $150.

The minuses:

1. Because of the small size, limited choices of games and tables.

2. Confusing set up. They have a separate regular Texas Hold 'Em games where you can play only 1 table at a time and a separate Poker 4 games where you can play multiple tables. They also have different graphics choices. Quite confusing initially and to me, it is a waste for their resources.

3) Because of the fast pace action, you can hardly take a break to go to the bathroom. You miss a few hands and you lose your seat. Can't even wait for the BB when you sit down. If you first sit 3-4 behind the button, play right away or you lose your seat before you get the BB. This is quite aggravating but bearable because, the waiting for a new seat is short.

I have been playing only since mid-November but I am winning more at Pokerroom than at Party.

I find Pokerroom to be cool little site but it is just my opinion.

Easy Money

If you do play here go to cardplayer.com. Look for the link that will give you a 40% bonus, up to $200.

You'll be playing for awhile, but it's good play. I had my best month in online poker from that site. (granted I've only been playing for 5 months...)
