How to play a sucker straight?

EP calls, MP calls, folded to me I check.

FLOP

I bet, EP calls, MP calls

TURN

I think for a second and realize this was a bad card. I check, EP bets, MP calls, I call (planning on check calling my sucker straight down, unless there is some significant action)

How would you have played this? Should I have played the turn more aggressively, even though I'm holding the sucker straight?

I would have bet the turn, and if raised checkcall rest of the way, if not then bet river too.

i would raise the turn and then call anyone down here...Not too many limping hands contain a 6 (66/Axs/67s) so likely you are up against another Ace and are gonna chop this pot

The sucker end of 2345 is a lot different than the sucker end of 9TJQ. There are very few hands with 6's in them that these guys are likely to have played. A bigger problem is that you're probably going to chop the pot with one or both of your opponents. If it ends up being a 3-way chop, then your bets are just feeding the rake. With this, plus the small possibility of losing to a bigger straight, I think check/calling is fine. You're not going to get much money out of someone who doesn't at least tie you.
