Default -51 BBs in 5 hours... Against a loose-passive table???

My worst day ever!. Is it common to drop 51 BBs in 5 hours at a 6 player max. table filled with calling stations and ONLY 1 agressor (me)?. I swear they completely disregarded my preflop raises (I was losing after all?!?). and kept playing all sorts of cheese to river. One of them would always show me the best hand!. Makes me wonder if my game is any good.

What's the best approach for these games?. I moved from full tables to 6-max to avoid schooling as much as possible, but this was basically the same. Very frustrating.

At the risk of sounding like an a-hole. If I am going that bad, I would make the sound move of leaving the table, leaving the site, turning off the puter, and go watch tv.

I've played 100,000 hands short handed and it's not uncommon at all Standard deviation is about 25BB's an hour so expect worse at times.

Were you playing bad cards? If not - then were you bluffing to much? I stopped playing shorthanded because a ring game is SO much easier. I can actually put people on hands.

Shorthanded is just a pissing match like NL. (in my eyes).

You haven't even come close to experiencing bad luck! It's
easy to lose close to 100 BBs at 3 tables of 6-handed, so
50BBs at one table should happen sometimes. The more
important question is whether or not you were doing your
best to make the proper decisions!

I have lost 10BB on a single hand many times, it is more than easy to lose 100BB in 6 hours of play.

No it's not. I have been playing poker every day online for the last 1.5 years and have never had a session that was worse than 40bb/. I play heads up too, and the swings are much higher in that.

Yeah. And above all do that when I'm losing 5 BBs instead of 51... right?

You must be a very good player if you have never lost more than 40BB in a headsup session. Do you use a pattern map?
