Re: Would you play QTo on the button with 6 limpers ?
Probably, depending on table and how things are running.
I would have to flop 2pair or a str draw inorder to go past the flop though. Jim |

Re: Would you play QTo on the button with 6 limpers ?
You are asking the wrong question.
The correct question is "Why WOULD you play QTo on the button with 6 limpers?" That will depend on alot of different things, table texture, opponenets skill, how you plan to play the flop, etc... if you feel you have enough reasons to play, then yes, if not, then no. |

Would you play QTo on the button with 6 limpers ? [/ QUOTE ] Yup... I'm the button so it's not going to be raised behind me. 6 limpers so it wasn't raised in front of me. I could flop top two pair or various straight draws and the number of players in the pot will likely give me the odds to draw at some things I normally would not draw to. I don't think it would be a bad investment at all. |

Re: Would you play QTo on the button with 6 limpers ?
I nominate this post for the worst post in a thread full of bad advice. KTo and QTo are the two worst hands in HE IMO. They look good enough to think about playing them. They are trap hands. You generally either win a small pot with them or lose a big one. HPFAP recommends only playing them in late position against one or two weak opponents. As the number of opponents go up, the value of unsuited high cards go down. Supersystem and Cloutier/McElvoy books also have lots of warnings about how dnagerous these type of hands are.

Completely agree
When i saw slanskys hand rankings 1st i wondered why these hands were so low?
Now i know why.Especially in mutipots these will get beat over and over again. The straight you make is beaten buy a higher str8 or flush, your 2 pair beaten by a higher 2 pair. These are not like a pocket pair that you can easily throw away on the flop.KTo and QTo also QJo always seem to catch someting on the flop ,they suck you in till the river where you drown. I find these hands much better when the earlies have folded and only 1 or 2 limpers. |
